I had never been to Clawson's private dining room before. It's located on the third floor, directly overlooking the waterfront. A great venue! Clawson's regular menu does a great job of providing familiar, casual food, using local, fresh ingredients sourced from nearby farms and their own gardens.

Clawson's is one of our favorite go-to spots in Carteret County. We make a point to regularly visit, either on date night or with a group of friends. ... There is a great selection of craft beer on tap and in the bottle, as well as a full bar of cocktails. The burgers are cooked to order (I like mine rare). Try the Grilled Mahi Salad with their homemade Cilantro Citrus Vinaigrette. It is wonderful!! A great place to bring friends or the family. I LOVE that it is a Kid-Friendly restaurant in Beaufort.
